Jyte is a consumer website created by JanRain, a software company located in Portland, Oregon. Jyte allows users to create claims about anything, for the other users to vote "up" (agree) or "down" (disagree). Jyte is also an experiment in online credibility management; it empowers users to assign cred points to each other in areas of alleged expertise.

Created in late January 2007, Jyte is an acronym for "Just You Tell 'Em" [1]. The site was developed primarily with Ruby on Rails, and is interoperable with other sites by means of several APIs.

Jyte is notable for relying solely on OpenID for logging in and registering their users.
