- Hold on a sec The term was coined by a German person. Therefore, "poetrytramp" may very well be an English translation (of some kind) of the original German phrase (or maybe in some other language for some reason). Until the actual name of the term is established, the fact that the English term has no links is not solid proof that the concept is not notable. - Hi, Coin/SaintLucia' Both, "poetry" and "tramp" are so called loan words in Germany. While "poetry" is known from the phenomenon poetry slam but remains as an American/English alien word — "tramp" is so more familiar and very romanticized: In German 'trampen' means hitchhiking. - Update Hmm... seems very dubious. Had a peek at his/her editing history. Sympathy as music term [most likely a translation of this German article Sympathie (Musik) ], and significant work done to Gottfried Benn are both done by the editor as well. Should be looked into. - Update [1] has some roughly translated comments in "usertalk" in "Piratenkniff"'s German Wikipedia account. [2] has usertalk for Wikimedia Commons. A list of his/her contributions to the German Wikipedia are here: [3].
