The only reason of notability appears to be "a lot of prize[s]" which seem actually pretty unheard of and, when googled, return almost only personal pages of people who won them (and in some case, this very article is the first result returned). Goochelaar (talk) 21:02, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete because
- Unable to locate the "Premio Aeropago Cirals" prize other than in her article.
- The Premio Internazionale città di Pomigliano d'Arco prize gets ghits. The prize does not get it's own article on the Italian Wikipedia but it does get a one sentence mention at it:Pomigliano d'Arco#Università e cultura that Babelfish translates to "The city is moreover center of the prestigious international prize "City of Pomigliano d' Arco" , biennial of poetry, novellistic, visual limbs and journalism founded from Small Vat in 1992."
- The Premio Pithecusa prize gets ghits (with this article being first) but is not on the Italian Wikipedia. Presume non-notable.
- Unable to locate any reference to this author on the Italian Wikipedia.
- Zero ghits for the the author name in the news (using all dates). The book came out in 1989 and so this lack of coverage is ok other than it should have picked up the 2005 "Il grande occhiale."
- The book gets 253 ghits but then I subtracted a sentence from the WP article finding two sister WP articles, fr:Antonia Donatiello and de:Antonia Donatiello but which are small, a single paragraph on one web page, and this which says she was a famous female poet/writer.
- One hit in Google Books but it sources the English WP.
- One hit in Google Scholar. The page found is not available but the snippet offered mentions that "Il grande occhiale", 2005, and Antonia Donatiello looks like it's part of a long list of names.
- She does not appear to be getting significant coverage in English and there's insufficient evidence of WP:N in Italian to merit an English WP article. --Marc Kupper|talk 01:53, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- since the language of coverage is irrelevant. I suppose you mean, the sources, both in English and Italian, are not sufficient to meet the standards of the enWP. DGG ( talk ) 05:51, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- My wording was the result editing that chopped things up a bit. In English I found next to nothing much less WP:N and in Italian there's a more but it seems not enough to tilt into WP:N. For example, is Premio Internazionale città di Pomigliano d'Arco notable enough that her win, assuming it could be verified, tilts her into WP:N? I made a judgment call based on its limited coverage in the Italian WP. However, a WP is not the source of notability and to really do this justice we'd need to hunt for RS about it. It is getting covered in the news[1]. but I don't know the media to know the independent RS. Globally, I did a search for allintitle:Antonia Donatiello and looked through all 75 pages without success. --Marc Kupper|talk 08:14, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
