Caroline Forbes is a fictional character and one of the supporting main characters from L. J. Smith's novel series The Vampire Diaries. She is portrayed by [[Candice King] in the television series CW's The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. She was turned into a vampire at the age of 17 by Katherine Pierce via Damon Salvatore's blood.
