PDQ, short for People Dedicated to Quality, is an American chain of fast casual restaurants offering chicken fingers, sandwiches, shakes, and salads. The chain operates in the Southern United States and has more than 50 locations.

History

Founders Nick Reader and Bob Basham opened the first PDQ's in Tampa Florida on October 30th 2011.[1] For the 2016 to 2017 hockey season, they opened a location at the PNC Arena.[2] In 2016, the chain had expanded to 55 stores, and received a rating of 97.4%, the highest of the chains included, for "Made eye contact" under QSR's Drive-Thru study.[3][4] In 2021 they signed a franchise agreement with Eastern Investment Co. to open restaurants in the Middle east and northern Africa.[5]
