Khmer New Year is the Cambodian New Year, which is determined by the Buddhist calendar according to the orbit of the moon, which is measured by the measure of the lunar year. In Cambodian culture, this festival is called "The Hot Season" of the mini-holiday or Small vacations Derived from the civilization of Indian culture called New Year "Sankranti" The word Sankranti is the original language of the word (Sanskrit) which is defined by the Cambodian people as (Sangkran Khmer) New Year is celebrated every 13th or 14th of April every year and all Cambodians are off work to celebrate their New Year.
