Only media coverage is local and limited in scope. Doesn't seem to be notable or have lasting relevance. Arbor8 (talk) 18:43, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. The article doesn't currently mention the thing for which Jackson is best known--his original design for the Missouri State Quarter was rejected by the U.S. Mint for suspect reasons, leading to a high-profile controversy that got quite a bit of play both in Missouri and nationally (see this Washington Post article as reprinted in the Los Angeles Times). Add that to his evident local fame in Missouri, and I'd be inclined to think he passes the notability test.
