Observations & Interests

I have an appreciation for a well crafted pen. It is one of my few vices.

In an age of paranoia and ridiculous propositions, The Onion continues to rearrange humor to read like reality.

While Richard Saul Wurman can be seen as grandstanding and even abrasive, he has produced some of the best writings about information and contemporary society.

While I do not agree with everything a statistician says, Edward Tufte believed in what he was proposing and self-published his first book, which began a highly successful series. He has brought a language and a discipline to the visualization of information – and his examples are well done.

Life is way too short to not engage all the senses. Besides music, cuisine in all its forms makes life worth living.

There is never enough time to read all the books , but it is important to try. . .

I know, gadgets aren't everything, but they make most things happen when you want, and in the most convenient way.
