This citation template produces formatted references to the Parliament of New South Wales's "members" biographical database, which contains information on all New South Wales members of parliament, including former members.

Usage

Copy a blank version to use. Almost all parameter names are supported only in lower case (some initialisms, such as |isbn= have upper-case aliases like |ISBN=, which are acceptable for use). Use the "|" (pipe) character between each parameter. Unused parameters may be deleted to avoid clutter in the edit window. Some samples on this documentation page may include the current date. If the date is not current, then the page.

Required parameters:

• id: "Member id", corresponds to the last parameter found in the URL of the database entry. https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/members/Pages/Member-details.aspx?pk=#### For example, for the entry on Dominic Perrottet, the "id" is 66.
• name: The name of the member. Consider using the form given in the relevant database entry. For example, for the entry on Sir Henry Parkes, the name in the entry is given as "Sir Henry Parkes (1815 - 1896)".

Optional parameters:

• former: Yes indicates a former member - omit for current members.
• access-date: The date when the entry was accessed.
