The BBC have recorded a special celebrity version of The Apprentice UK for Comic Relief,[1] with the working title of "Celebrity Apprentice".[2] Five male celebrities and five female celebrities will take part in the show. The format for the celebrity edition is not yet known, although it is believed that the celebrities will be managing a fun fair[3] The show was officially announced on December 12 2006.[4] The show will air on the 15th and 16th of March 2007[5]. The programme will air on BBC One[6]

Candidates

The celebrities taking part in the show are listed below.[7] Although, this list has been disputed, as TV and Radio personality Chris Evans has reported on his BBC website that Tim Campbell winner of series 1 is involved in the series, and makes no mention to Ross Kemp's involvement.[8] The official Comic Relief website confirms Kemp's involvement and makes no mention of Campbell being involved in the series.[9] This has lead some fans to believe that Tim will appear as a guest mentor.[10]
