Frances Collins is an Irish diplomat and the current ambassador to the Holy See since November 2022.

He earned a BA in in History, Politics and Social Studies, and an MA in European Integration, both from the University of Limerick.[1]

She joined the Irish Diplomatic Service and served as a desk officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs. She was then posted as Second Secretary at the Irish Embassy in Uganda. After this she served as Vice Head of Mission at the EU delegation to South Sudan.

Subsequently, she was Vice Director of the Disarmament and Non-Proliferation section at Iveagh House. She presented her Letters of Credence to Pope Francis on 28 November 2022.[2] Category:Ambassadors of Ireland to the Holy See
