Tanja Mehlstäubler is a physicist specializing in the field of quantum optical clocks and ion trap based quantum technologies. She is known to be the world leading expert in precision optical spectroscopy[1] , and is a full time professor at the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. She is also a guest faculty at Osaka University, Japan.
