Problems with references[edit]

The article and references contradict each other about the origin of the dish. The article references Oakhouse Foods, a frozen food delivery site that does not meet WP:RS, but in any case contradicts itself, saying that the dish originated in Britain during the World War II food rationing, but that it was not until 1924 that the recipe was to be found in printed recipe books. A typo for World War I perhaps, but this contradicts the article which says the recipe is to be found in Mrs. Beeton's Book of Household Management, published in 1861. —BillC talk 13:57, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
