The first edit of user Onewman (talk · contribs) was on Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Quacking [1], to mention that some accounts are missing from the category and that "Quacking (talk · contribs) is not the host". A few minutes later, M. carper (talk · contribs) was registered, and after a few minutes started vandalising articles by adding File:Kugelmugel.jpg to them e.g. this edit (the image is used in the Kugelmugel article, which was moved on several occasions by sockpuppets of Quacking (talk · contribs), and M. carper created a user page self-identifying as a sockpuppet of Shammac (talk · contribs), which appears to be an older account of Quacking, blocked before Quacking was created). M. carper has been blocked for vandalism, and Onewman has not vandalised but the evidence suggests they are the same user, particularly the fact that a new user probably wouldn't make their first edit on a sockpuppet category, and that both accounts were created around the same time.

it should be noted that all suspected sockpuppets except Quacking (talk · contribs) are blocked for vandalism. It is possible the all accounts are related, but since Quacking (talk · contribs) has only made 1 edit, it is possible, but not concrete. Foxy Loxy ^Pounce! 03:42, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
