Dania Suleman is a former lawyer and author of the 2021 book Les malentendues. Suleman was born in Montréal, Québec, Canada to an Eritrean father and Quebecois mother and currently resides in New York. Suleman received her master's degree in international law from Université du Québec à Montréal. Suleman has recently transitioned into media as a researcher, director and fact checker, providing research support to films such as the recent Québec documentary Briser le code.
