Bihar Engineering University[1] [2] [3] [4] (BEU Patna) is a collegiate public state university[5] located in Mithapur, Patna, Bihar, India. BEU has authority over technical education all over the state of Bihar, and it functions as the state technological university of Bihar. It is recognised and approved by AICTE. It is a statutory requirement for colleges offering any program in engineering or technology in the state to be affiliated with the university. Bihar Engineering University (BEU),[6] Patna has been established by the Government of Bihar vide Bihar Engineering University, ACT, 2021 (Act No. 20 of 2021), published in the Bihar Gazette No.-677 date 09/08/2021.[7] [8][9][10]
