Could you let me know when the content I have drafted on my Talk page will be published/moved into the live space Thanks Sue
- Hi Sue. I'm sorry to inform you that your draft needs many revisions before it can be published. First, I have removed your draft as large portions of the text appear to be copied or closely paraphrased from this website: [1]. Wikipedia is an open-source project: we are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License, which permits readers to reuse the text for whatever purpose they desire. As a result, copyrighted text for which we lack permission to reuse is incompatible with our free license.
- In this case, you must rewrite your entire draft because of both copyright issues and because it is too promotional. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising, marketing or public relations, but the purpose of your proposed text is clearly to win over prospective customers and investors. This draft cannot be published until it is rewritten from a neutral point of view. The most obvious red flags are phrases that are frequently used in press releases, but are not appropriate for an encyclopedia. These promotional terms include phrases such as "privilege of a rare private viewing", "stunning luxury exclusive-use property", and "romantically diffuse light and air." Just as importantly, watch out for sentences that sound vaguely positive, but don't actually tell the reader anything specific. They should be condensed and written more tersely.
- Once you are finished with the revisions, submit the draft through Articles for Creation. Edit requests are typically used to suggest changes to already existing articles, whereas Articles for Creation is a separate process meant for turning drafts into new articles. The Articles for Creation reviewer may request that you provide citations from independent sources (i.e. not affiliated with your company) to double-check the claims made in the article.
