Angled endpin used by bassists?

In adding mention of the Tortelier type endpin, I left the "cellists and bassists," since the previous version said they both "retool" their instruments... I have not seen an angled endpin on a bass, but haven't seen that many basses up close. Anybody? Just plain Bill 03:20, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there is an angled endpin used and promoted by François Rabbath, but it is very uncommon and so is the practice of his method. The endpin actually protrudes from the bottom edge of the instrument. -- ßottesiηi (talk) 18:29, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
