Hello, I'm a student at Georgetown University and an amateur editor at Wikipedia. I've always found Wikipedia very convenient and I want to improve the many articles found here to help other people know this information.

In the past, I've mostly focused on contributing to history-related articles (particularly world history), and the Post-classical history article has been a sort of pet project of mine. Recently though, I've been expanding my contributions to other projects, such as video games.

To-Do List

[edit]

Postclassical Era

[edit]

To-Do List for Postclassical Era

  • Expansion is heavily needed in the Africa, South and Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Central Asia, and End of Period sections.
    • Italy needs to be described in greater detail in the Western Europe section (i.e. Kingdom of the Lombards, etc.)
    • Spain's transition from Reconquista to the Spanish Empire needs to be better detailed.
    • Eastern Europe is still lacking; needs to better describe the Byzantine Empire, Slavs, Bulgarian Empires, and early Russia.
  • The Americas, Korea, South and Southeast Asia, and End of Period sections lack any citations.
    • Western Europe section still needs more inline citations
  • A greater variety of references is still needed
    • East Asia sections especially need more different citations
  • A cultural section may need to be created

Age of Revolution

[edit]

To-Do List for Age of Revolution

  • Organize
    • Outline sections
    • Set up references (add resources)
    • Establish format for article
  • Start expansion with minor summaries in each section
  • Set up for peer review to analyze for further improvement/expansion
[edit]

Other articles that require improvement; aka part of my personal pet project

World History

Also, consider reorganizing Spanish history (Habsburg Spain to Enlightenment in Spain, etc.) as well as pre-Columbian Peruvian history (Wari culture to Wari Empire).
