politician and Parliamentary Secretary of the Government of the Union of Burma (now Myanmar).
Childhood Life
Born January 26, 1914 in Monyo, Tharrawaddy District, Pegu Division; son of U Thaung Pe, Myothugyi and Daw Ohn.
Education
educated Rangoon University 1933.
Involvement in resistances against British colonial and Japanese occupations
served in the Burma Independence Army, 1941-42 and the Resistance Movement.
