Information icon Hello, I'm Ferret. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Elder Scrolls Online, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read WP:USERG. User generated content, such as other wiki sites like UESP, are not appropriate as sources on Wikipedia. -- ferret (talk) 19:59, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. Please don't email if there's no private information, reply here :) UESP is a fan site and again, it is user generated. It is not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. You might try one of the sources listed as WP:VG/S to find something appropriate. There is a custom search engine link there. -- ferret (talk) 20:16, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, will look into that, that is a fan site? I was not aware, that is some good info, the reason I am looking into Firesong is because the "Online game" or "Video game" is not processing on Google, I cannot process the proper link in TES site, I do not understand all the little INS and outs, hopefully this looks better, so how does an E-mail not work in Wikipedia, is it because Wikipedia does not have an E-mail format designed? Yes, UESP is a very good site and resource. But Wikipedia cannot accept sources that are edited and written by users freely without editorial control. Email works on Wikipedia, but there's little reason to use it as content discussions should happen on site for collaboration. -- ferret (talk) 04:56, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I tried adding The Elder Scrolls - Firesong in the timeline chrono-log for the year of 2022 as that was the date for the DLC, the problem encountered was the name came up as red, and the DLC showed no page where there was no true link referencing the DLC, all of the other games and DLCs linked up to something Sllocsredle (talk) 21:36, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing 404 sources

[edit]

When you replace 404 sources, please make sure you're replacing them with the correct link. Several times you have replaced an old ESO link with a new one that goes to a different blog post. This results in them not actually sourcing the content as intended. I've fixed them. -- ferret (talk) 16:21, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Frances Cleveland

[edit]

Hey, I saw the edit you made on the page for Frances Cleveland. Unfortunately whatever you were trying to say did not come across and I had to remove it since it wasn't grammatically correct. I'm not sure if English isn't your first language or something, but I'd be glad to assist you in re-adding the information. If you can make it more clear to me what you are trying to say, I could help you with making it grammatically correct. Ericfood (talk | contribs) 22:50, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
