Josh Todd

Josh Todd (born Joshua Todd Gruber, April 4, 1974 in Los Angeles) is the stage-name of the lead singer of many bands, including Buckcherry.

Prior to his days in Buckcherry, Todd fronted the Hollywood punk band Slamhound and a pre-Buckcherry Sparrow.

Buckcherry (1999-2001)

Josh Todd enjoyed his most success as frontman for rock band Buckcherry but differences split the band in 2002.

Todd would go on to form a partnership with Todd Meagher called TODD Entertainment, LLC and formed the band JOSH TODD. They would release one album together, 'You Made Me', supported by the single 'Shine', though sales didn't measure up to prior Buckcherry success. The band would later split leading Josh Todd to reform Buckcherry in late 2005/early 2006.

Buckcherry (2006-present)

In 2005 rumors began to circulate that Todd had left the Josh Todd band and was reforming Buckcherry. These rumors were confirmed when a website and MySpace page for Buckcherry appeared. In 2006 they released their 3rd album as a band, their first with a new rhythm section, 15.

He has appeared in several movies in both credited and uncredited roles including playing the part of "Rudy" in the 2002 teen comedy The New Guy and several small parts in xXx and The Salton Sea.

  • A suicide King of Hearts with the word "Love" above it and "Desire" below it covering his entire back.
  • The word "Chaos" above his navel and a black widow spider below.
  • The word "Peter Snow" on his right knuckles and "SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS" on his left knuckles, magicly spelling out "Stay Gold" when put together, a reference to The Outsiders.
  • Matching spiral tattoos on his shoulders, sometimes referred to as "Spiritual Headlights".
  • Matching skulls over spider webs on his kneecaps
