  • Comment: I think it's good for mainspace for now. I know previously, there were concerns about paid editing, which is defined as a COI, and the author has correctly submitted through AfC process as outlined by WP:COIEDIT and WP:PE. I will state that it appears there are no WP:NPOV concerns right now. I do believe it meets WP:N. The submitter is reminded that after the article has left the AfC process, they are not to edit the article in the mainspace and instead to suggest changes on the article's talk page, per WP:COI, and to continue to make clear their COI on their page, as it is now. Thanks for correctly participating in the process. microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 19:18, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
  • Comment: @Xmanxmanx: as an uninvolved party to the original and now the current submission, I will say I think it's ready for mainspace in its current form. microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 19:07, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

Response: I have gone ahead and removed/revised some of the promotional parts. As you stated in the linked thread "I believe meets the standards necessary for approval as a draft despite some NPOV concerns." Please let me know if you see any other NPOV issues and I will gladly revise.Xmanxmanx (talk) 01:35, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

Fire Department Coffee is an American coffee retailer and coffee roaster based in Rockford, Illinois.[1][2][3] It was founded by Luke Schneider in 2016.[4][5][6][7]

History

Fire Department Coffee was founded by Luke Schneider, a Navy veteran and former Rockford firefighter and paramedic.[4][8][9] Schneider hired fellow firefighter Jason Patton as the company’s vice president and made him a part-owner.[4][6] The brand launched its first roasting center in a local strip mall in 2016.[4][8]

Professional mixed martial artist and former UFC champion Stipe Miocic starred in a commercial for Fire Department Coffee in 2020.[10][11][12]

In January 2021, the company purchased the Al Grace Appliance building in Rockford to use as its international distribution center.[13] Fire Department Coffee also purchased a building to use as its first café location in the 900 block of W. Riverside Blvd in 2022.[14]

They also launched a line of ready to drink coffees in October 2022.[15][16]

In January 2023, the company made a partnership with National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).[17] Its local and national distribution partners and resellers include Meijer,[18] Albertsons, and Candy Cloud.[4]

Through its affiliated non-profit organization, the Fire Department Coffee Charitable Foundation, Fire Department Coffee donates a portion of proceeds to provide aid for sick and injured first responders.[13][19]
