G. A. Riplinger (also known as Gail Riplinger) is a controversial Christian author. Her most famous work is a bestselling book (over 150,000 copies sold) critical of modern Bible translations called New Age Bible Versions (first published in 1993). She has B.A., M.A., and M.F.A. degrees and has been a university professor prior to becoming a full-time writer and lecturer. Her most recent work is In Awe of Thy Word: Understanding the King James Bible, Its Mystery and History, Letter by Letter (published in 2003).
