Joe Daymond is a New Zealand based actor, comedian and writer.[1][2]

Biography and career

Daymond is of a Fijian-Māori decent, born in Wainuiomata,[3] He spent his early childhood in Malaysia and India, moving back to New Zealand in 2005.[4]

He started his career in comedy in 2017.[5] In 2023, Daymond performed at The Comedy Store alongside Theo Von and Dave Chappelle.[1][2]

In 2017, Daymond created a TV production company West Park.[6] The company in partnership with Māori TV launched a series Rags Are Riches,[6] the series, hosted by Daymond is about finding affordable alternatives to high fashion.[7]

IN 2021, Daymond participated in Celebrity Treasure Island.[8]

Daymond has appeared in TV series including Bouncers,[9] My Favorite Dead Person,[10] Get the Name Right,[11] The Eggplant,[12] and Sextortion.[13] He was also part of the writing team in Bouncers,[1] The Eggplant, 7 Days[14] and SIS.[15]
