Is it still an American magazine or should the first line be changed to 'was'?

The Official link cited now redirects to a UK-based subscription service. Editors address is listed to be in the UK as well. Borisattva (talk) 18:31, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nurse Controversy

This occurred in 2003 and 2005. I've fixed the article accordingly. gamerfreak

Removal of Folding Section

Any particular reason it was removed? Seems it is appropriate considering we are one of the biggest contributer of the project. gamerfreak

Watchdog - Ombudsman

I corrected the listing of the Watchdog being a Consumer Advocate. In reality, they work more as an Ombudsman. When given a problem, they will first try to work with the manufacturer to correct the problem. Only if the manufacturer can not (or will not) correct a problem will they give a recommendation to avoid the product/producer. 72.161.163.168 13:56, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added the Maximum PC logo under the logo license. Hope this edit is helpful and if it isn't then please tell me.Hdt83 03:29, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking we should add one of their covers to the wiki. I will ask permission and report back here when I have an answer. Yurimxpxman 04:29, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The logo looks as though it was from a screen shot of the older site. It would be better if we could get an updated one. gamerfreak

PDFs at site

I think it should be included that the PDF of each issue can be downloaded at the website? W1ZzYy 05:09, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

not quite each issue. they've got them back to December '05 (reportedly planning to go all the way back into '01), but someone ought to add it. i will if i can make this markup language do what i want it to. 142.165.95.83 (talk) 15:15, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CD-ROMs

Does MaxPC still have CDs in every issue? I recall 'boot' did, and if this is still the case it seems like a notable feature which the article ought to mention.--AC (talk) 07:22, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MPC still includes CDs with every issure if you check some box on your subscription form. In fact, a DVD was included with the Holiday 2008 issue. I don't, however, remember a CD or DVD coming with the Holiday 2009 issue. They probably just couldn't come up with anything to put on it. Doggitydogs (talk) 03:16, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Holiday issues

MPC publishes 13 issues a year -- the monthly issues and a Holiday issue at the end of the year. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere in the article. I think that's kinda important. Doggitydogs (talk) 03:16, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In/Out

In/ Out is no longer a part of the magazine. Vist[1] And there is no in/ out section.Intelati (talk) 20:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PC Gamer Merge

maximumpc.com now serves as an HTTP 301 redirect to pcgamer.com/hardware. This article needs to be updated to reflect that. [2] 204.234.67.129 (talk) 17:39, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Official web site is apparently gone

The official website www.maximumpc.com is apparently gone. It now redirects to Tom's Hardware. Or should we remove the link? Should we used an archived version?

Also, should we change the article tense from present tense to past tense (i.e. change "Maximum PC is an American magazine" to "Maximum PC was an American magazine")? A Quest For Knowledge (talk) 14:09, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
