"Be Good to Me"
Song

"Be Good to Me" is Ashley Tisdale's first single off her debut album Headstrong. It was sent to Radio Disney in January 2007. It has managed to climb 11 spots from #18 to number #7 on Radio Dinsey's Top 30, where it had remained in the Top 10 songs. "Be Good to Me" debuted on AOL Music: First Listen on 22 December 2006.[1]. It debuted on Radio Disney on 25 December 2006 and on January 9th was released to iTunes. On January 28, 2007, the song appeared on the iTunes Top 100 Songs at #89, despite being only released for Radio Disney. On March 17th, the single debuted on the Brazilian charts at #76.Its success is most likely attributed to the premiere of the video on the Disney Channel. Tisdale's song He Said She Said was originally set to be her official first single, however her record label has decided to use Be Good To Me as the official first single. The song will be sent to pop radio in early March 2007. As of March 27, the song has been added to (New York's #1 hit music station) Z100's playlist at # 30. [2]

The video for this song was shot just before one of the High School Musical concerts. Ashley has posted a bulletin on her official MySpace saying that the video will premiere on January 24, 2007 on KOL. She also wrote that Disney will premiere on January 25, 2007 after Sister, Sister.

  • The album version of "Be Good To Me" includes a rap by Sweden's David Jassy (who also wrote the song "Not Like That") and length of 3:33, the other version is included in the iTunes single of "He Said, She Said"

Music video

Ashley filmed her music video on the High School Musical Concert.

Ashley used the same dancers from her concert for High School Musical, to shoot this video. According to one of the concert dancers, Jared Murillo's Blog, They filmed the video on December 27th at Greensboro, N.C."Before the show, we filmed Ashley's music video for Be Good To Me. Today was the day I did my first music video and it was really cool. I always wanted to be in a music video because of MTV's music videos and wondered if I would ever be in one. The Music Video starts with the crowd goin' crazy, the she dance with the dancers, all the time, and performs her song just like the lyric is." A new official version of the Be Good to Me music video will be shot due to the fact that it has replaced 'He Said, She Said' as the first official single from Headstrong.
