English: The old Polish Pip Ivan Observatory, also known as "Biały Słoń", built in 1938 at 2,028 m in Carpathian National Nature Park. The name "White Elephant" (Biały Słoń) comes from the shape it resembles in winter when it is covered in snow. Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine.
