Query about regiment's fate

What happened to this regiment after WWII? The article does not state whether this regiment was simply disbanded or transferred to the Indian Army. Can anyone help clear this up? If so, please feel free to add to the article. Cheers. AustralianRupert (talk) 13:42, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
