Welcome to WikiProject Firefighting! This WikiProject is designed to provide a centralized place for Wikipedians interested in firefighting and its related topics to gather for relevant discussion and make announcements on ways to better the coverage of firefighting on Wikipedia. Scope
The scope of this WikiProject includes all articles related to firefighting: it's history, related equipment, detection, combatting, prevention, and so on. We aim to expand Wikipedia's resources and coverage on firefighting in a fair and accurate manner. All pages within this scope should be contained within Category:Firefighting or one of its subcategories, and should be tagged with the code {{WikiProject Firefighting}} on the page's talkpage.

Progress on this WikiProject proposal
Currently, requests for comments are open on the defunct Fire Service and Fire Protection WikiProject talk pages to gauge support for a united WikiProject here.
