Rare Lung Cancer Variants

[edit]

I hope that my fellow Wikipedians with an interest in lung cancer will stop by here and discuss research and treatment of rare forms of lung cancer. I'm convinced that we are in an exciting time of rapid advances in lung cancer treatment, and have been advocating for thirty years, to anyone who will listen, that the more important advances in lung cancer treatment will come not via "wholesale breakthroughs" with regard to the more common histological types of lung cancer (i.e. adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma) but instead from discovery of therapies for "rarer" forms of lung cancer.
