First commits on gitbox.apache.org are 2012-10-11 (Todd Lipcon), first from Matteo Bertozzi in 2013-03-25, them many others from 2013-05-25 (Eli Collins, Colin Patrick, David S. Wang, David Alves, etc.)... Todd Lipcon is from Cloudera... Apache Impala started in end of 2012 but "became generally available in May 2013"...
