Regarding the “History” section
[edit]I noticed that the article had two sections titled “See Also”, one of which was seemingly intended for the “History” section. Accordingly, I’ve moved it there (and deleted the duplicate “See Also” section).
In addition to moving the content, I’ve lightly edited a few passages, but the structure of the section still feels messy. To my mind, there are two issues here:
- Given it is meant to be about the history of fire departments, I see no reason for the section to begin with three photographs of (relatively) modern firefighting crews; and
- In any case, I’m not convinced the page needs a section on the history of firefighting, which already has its own article.
I’ve elected to limit my edits to cleaning up the formatting, but I encourage other editors to consider further, bolder changes. Foxmilder (talk) 02:38, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
