Duplicated Info

[edit]

I'm sure the creation of this article is well-intentioned, but it's based upon terminology that has entered into the mainstream as a result of the ongoing Hillary Clinton email controversy and ongoing presidential debates, but is mostly a duplicate of information already covered using existing terminology by our Data erasure and Data remanence articles. The "bleaching" terminology appears to have come from the name of some of the software allegedly used to erase free space on Hillary Clinton's email server (namely, BleachBit). I'm not sure the article meets WP:Notability criteria as it contributes no additional information over the existing computing articles other than the addition of Donald Trump's comments that bleaching is “an expensive process” — which are false, as many free and open-source software programs exist to carry out such a task (e.g. BleachBit, DBAN, dd etc.) — Alex Haydock 09:03, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
