I'm not sure when this page was last updated, but I attended this university from March-July 2004, and the campus in Temuco was still open then. Perhaps the author should do some more investigating.

UDP is not the oldest private university in Chile![edit]

As it sounds. UDP is not the oldest private university in Chile! If we think private means "not part (or property) of state", then PUC (Potificia Universidad Católica de Chile) is almost a century older! PUC is managed by the church and not by chilean state.

I think 1888 (year since PUC inaguration) is MUCH MORE OLDER tha 1982...

I finally removed the sentence the oldest private university and replaced it with a private university --_N_e_g_r_u_l_i_o 20:27, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
