A 'Plasma bank' (a protective storage cum transfusion, medical assisted, facility for plasmas, derived from the cured patients of COVID-19), for the welfare of COVID-19 patients, has been set up by the Ministry of health sciences.

This is one of the two Plasma banks in Tamil Nadu state; the first one established in Tamil Nadu state is in Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, in Chennai.

This project is implemented under the guidance of Edappadi K. Palanisamy esq., Chief minister of Tamil Nadu state, in India. Helppublic (talk) 06:15, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
