The coordinate in the article, 45°32′55″N 122°29′9″W / 45.54861°N 122.48583°W / 45.54861; -122.48583, doesn't have anything at that point except a field beside a dirt road with some piles of materials (bricks?). What is the source of the coordinate? —EncMstr (talk) 17:01, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had trouble with this. The gnis coordinates I found were for the park and are even further away from the house than the brick pile. I resorted to using the Elkman infobox generator I found at WP:NRHP, but it makes mistakes. I'm not sure what database the infobox generator is using, but it returns the wrong construction date for the house as well as the wrong coordinates. After seeing your note this morning, I used Google Earth and the street address to derive the coordinates, and the new ones land right in the front yard. 54.45 seconds N would be even closer, but I gather that we don't usually include the fraction of a second. I'm not sure about this, and perhaps you can advise. I have another question perhaps you can answer. I don't see how to include a pair of ref tags with a footnote about Google Earth and the street address in the infobox itself. My attempts to do this create a big mess. I could insert the coords in the main text and reference them there, but I'd rather add the note to the infobox. Finetooth (talk) 18:15, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, thanks. I see. Much obliged. Finetooth (talk) 19:59, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. Thanks for looking after it. —EncMstr (talk) 20:03, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
