Matho DOES exist and as such, I have reinstated an expanded version of the article. I saw the place with my own eyes (and that is my photo) from Thiske in 2005!!!

I have done a lot to cover an area (Ladakh) that is gaining increasing attention from potential visitors and Matho stands out like a sore thumb in the Indus river valley.
