Parishes

There's mention of parishes in the article. Are these historical or present? I thought that rather than parish councils, Wales had community councils, so what is Dyffryn Cellwen? A parish, a community, or would "village" be simpler? (And more understandable.) Telsa (talk) 21:26, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
