Removal of deletion template
[edit]I am about to remove the deletion template from this article as I disagree with the reason given of "Fails notability". I know from past reading that this model of bus (like most London buses) has been extensively written about in books and magazines, its shortcomings being debated at some length. I just don't happen to currently have access to any of those publications in order to use them for improving the article. I am however convinced that an encyclopedic article can and should be written.
The Swift at one time made up about a quarter of the fleet of Britain's largest bus operator (London Transport) so I would consider it at least as notable as most other bus models. Automotive models are routinely considered notable, and I don't think this is a particular exception. Quackdave (talk) 19:14, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
