  1. Both Postage stamps and postal history of Madeira and Postage stamps and postal history of Funchal are about the same region - Madeira - with the latter page focusing on a specific point in its history where it was known as the "District of Funchal".
  2. Note that there is only one Postage stamps and postal history of the Azores, even though, when there was the "District of Funchal", there were three districts in the Azores!
  3. The second page seems to be more complete than the first (at least for the time period considered), so its information should be used to complete the first one.
