WikiProject Schools

[edit]

Can someone give this article a rating on the assessment scale and an importance rating within schools? (above) Brilliance 21:00, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've rated it as Start-class and Low-importance, only significant locally or regionally. PaladinWhite 04:54, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You think so? You know that Smoky hill's yearbook has been used as sample yearbook? and its AVID project is recognized at the National level and is and AVId demonstration school--[[User:Designdroide|Designdroide]] 01:18, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Extra curricular

[edit]

I can see why Science bowl and The school paper have their own section but does juggling club need one? all that i see juggling club has done is not notable. It has not won awards, or gained nation recognition. does it really deserve its own section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Designdroide (talkcontribs) 01:15, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editing this Page

[edit]

It is against the rules of privacy and anonymity to add your own name into the school's page. Unless you are a truly notable alum, please refrain from doing so. Pwnz0r1377 16:56, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Size of school mascot

[edit]

Does any one else thing that the buffalo on the wiki page is a bit big?--[[User:Designdroide|Designdroide]] 23:58, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Student names

[edit]

I think student names should be undisclosed, for current students. Alumni if fine due to if they are notable and they aren't minors... So who every keeps adding names, first or last, to the probably should stop...--User:Designdroide (talk) 04:39, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Breakdown

[edit]

Seems like there is way too much "stuff" on this page and I think it would be best if it gets condensed or broken down in some way. Alot of it is POV and if it was sent to another editor, i'm suure a bulk of it would get yanked as unneeded or unnecessary. I went to smoky and I can appreciate the sentiment, however I think this should still be lessened down alot. There are course listings and everything a club does or is responsible for is mentioned, come on. Someone please respond to this, it's already headed to my sandbox so I can kind of start the process, but i would love more input before i get Bold and after some editing, just remove a bulk of this. Cheers!--EmperorofPeopleEverywhere (talk) 18:07, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's fair to say I don't mind giving a three day deadline for a response or some kind of compromise before I go through and remove and clean up the entire page. Find me on my talk page, or chat it up here so we can come to some sort of resolution. Thanks and Cheers Again!!--EmperorofPeopleEverywhere (talk) 18:29, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious

[edit]

During today's Rockies broadcast, Jenny Cavnar mentioned that a picture of her taken as a Little Leaguer (it was Little League day at the ballpark) was 23 years old. You're 18 when you graduate from high school, so if she was class of 2004, that would make her born in 1986, maybe fudge a year if she was skipped ahead or was born in the summertime when it's less clear when a kid should start school. Either way, that would make her a maximum of 4 years old when the Little League picture was taken - not too likely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.94.13.246 (talk) 10:57, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
