Assessment
This article needs more than three sentences in its route description section before it qualifies for B-class. -- Kéiryn (talk) 16:53, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I thought about this but this route is only two miles and goes on a straight path with no variations in the route through a city. What else is there to describe about the route? CL — 00:08, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- And I'm trying to stress the 50-75% rule because that is a big factor in assessing these. Cheers - CL — 02:12, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's a lot easier to add information about routes through a city than it is to write about routes in the middle of nowhere. Does it intersect any major streets? Since it's a town of decent size, surely there must be something nearby worth mentioning – a school, a church, government offices, anything? Like I said, regardless of the length or the surroundings of the route, the completed article will always have at least two full length paragraphs in the route description. If there's really nothing more that can be said, then all that means is that this article won't be moving up the ladder any time soon. That's okay, not every article has to be a featured article – if they did, being featured would lose all meaning. -- Kéiryn (talk) 14:50, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
