Debug interface?

[edit]

Many articles at Wikipedia use the term debug interface, which makes me wonder whether this term is synonymous to debug port. Are there any distinctions to be made for these terms between the physical interface (eg. different kinds of plastic header connector) and the logical interface (eg. JTAG, Nexus, BDM, etc.)? That is, is debug port supposed to write about only the physical connection, or only the logical connection, or both? Thanks, --Abdull (talk) 12:25, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RS-232

[edit]

Is RS-232 used as a debug port?
