Influence on enlistment rates?

I was surprised that there is no reference in the Influence/Legacy sections to the film's influence on enlistment rates-any thoughts/data? Military_history_of_African_Americans#World_War_II mentions a high enlistment rate wrt WWII, no more.--DadaNeem (talk) 21:18, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
