Who says it is only recognised by Turkey?

[edit]

Many countries recognised it and i think its bias behaviour to say it is recognised by Turkey only. Sonny00 20:44, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is a fact, not an opinion, that the TRNC is only recognised by only ONE country, Turkey. See [1], [2], [3]. Kransky 04:00, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Europe-in-topic template

[edit]

Templates are supposed to be convenient tools to reference articles. Instead this template is a bloody soapbox heaven that invites pointless arguments or wordy caveats over whether X is in Europe, or if entity Y is either a real country or just a duck farm owned by a crazy successionist. Do we really need a template to list together all Europe-specific articles on a certain topic? Kransky (talk) 09:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion at WP:FOR on formatting and content of "List of diplomatic missions" article

[edit]

There is now a discussion at WP:FOR on the formatting and content of "List of diplomatic missions" articles. As this discussion ostensibly could affect this article, editors are encouraged to provide their opinions on the WP:FOR at this link - Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_International_relations#Formatting_of_diplomatic_missions_lists - please do not discuss on this article talk page as valid points for consideration may very well not be seen by editors at large. Legally cannot be described as a diplomatic mission

[edit]

Legally the representative office in the United States is a commercial entity and the staff do not have diplomatic visas (they are using business visas). The commercial entity is passing itself off as a diplomatic mission. Nipsonanomhmata (talk) 05:36, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
