Grant UK, based in Swindon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom, are the UK branch of Irish heating product manufacturers. These heating products include; oil boilers, air source heat pumps, hybrid heating products, underfloor heating systems, aluminium radiators, cylinders and solar thermal systems.

Grant are an Irish company, but they have locations in France, Great Britain and Northern Ireland.[1]Grant was initially founded in 1978 by Stephen Grant[2], however Grant UK was established in Salisbury, Wiltshire in 1996.[3] In 2022, Grant UK's HQ moved to a new premises in Swindon, where the offices, warehousing and Training Academy is based over 80,000sqft.[1]

Products

Grant UK manufacture heating systems that "respond to the challenges of rising fuel costs whilst protecting our environment". [4] Find the list of heating systems that Grant UK manufacture below;

Oil Boilers

Grant UK manufacture a range of different oil boilers that are suitable for different property types. Grant's oil-fired boilers are available in internal, external, combination, boiler house and wall hung models. Grant UK claim that homeowners can "achieve energy efficiencies of up to 94.5%", meaning that "homeowners can lower their fuel usage, reduce their fuel bills and lessen their greenhouse gas emissions".[5]

Air Source Heat Pumps

In 2010, Grant UK started to manufacture their first generation of air-to-water heat pumps, known as the Grant Aerona range. In 2018, Grant UK released their fourth generation of air source heat pumps, known as the Aerona³ R32 air source heat pump range.[6] Alongside heat pumps, Grant UK also manufacture Aerona Heating Control systems, which allow users to control their heat pumps with a smart controller.[7]

Hybrid Heating

Grant UK also manufacture hybrid products that combine traditional fossil fuel heating with the green advantage of an air source heat pump. The main benefit of this product is that it helps hard-to-heat homes reduce their reliance on fossil fuels. For instance, the VortexAir Hybrid incorporates the Aerona³ R32 air source heat pump with a low NOx Vortex oil boiler.

History

Founded in 1978 by Stephen Grant, Grant introduced its first product in 1979, with the Grant Hydrofire Inset Boiler. Grant UK was established in Salisbury, Wiltshire in 1996. Grant UK then expanded and moved to a new premises in Devizes, which had 3,160m² offices and warehouse space.
