The 100 Best Corporate Citizens (100 BCC) is annual list that evaluates and ranks large publicly traded companies in the United States based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.^[1]

History of the 100 BCC List

The list was first published by the magazine Business Ethics: The Magazine of Corporate Responsibility in 1996.^[2] The 100 BCC list has been published on annual basis since the year 2000.^[3] In 2007, management of the 100 BCC list was transferred to the CRO magazine, a newsletter targeting Corporate Responsibility Officers.^[4] The periodical was later renamed as the Corporate Responsibility (CR) magazine and acquired by 3BL Media in 2017.^[5]
