The song "Love Songs of the Nile" was first recorded by Prince Kalu and His Hawaiian Serenaders. The song is derived from the background music written by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed for the movie "The Barbarian" (1933) (needs citation), starring Ramon Novarro and Myrna Loy.
