Confusion

[edit]

This is really messy, it appears to be about the film F.P.1, but has been hijacked by having the book it is based on shoe-horned into it too. These should be seperate articles as the reader will not know if the plot is of the film or the book. FruitMonkey (talk) 11:38, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Party member number one doesn't answer"

[edit]

Twice now I have encountered a political joke that is clearly based on the title of this film. It goes "Party Member 1 doesn't answer", referring to Adolf Hitler. One of the books is Joachim Fest's "Hitler" -- I can't find the page number because I only have an electronic edition; it is in the chapter "On the Way to the Führer State." Neither book had explanatory notes. Revert if it seems like OR. Roches (talk) 18:25, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's mentioned on page 430 of the printed version of the English translation of Joachim Fest's "Hitler" (ISBN 978-0-15-602754-0, paperback version, I think). Unfortunately, I don't have access to the German original. The English translation of the joke in that book is: "Party Comrade No. 1 did not answer" (obviously, translations of the German joke can vary). --Klaws (talk) 11:15, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

1932 film based off 1933 novel?

[edit]

How can this be 190.200.224.61 (talk) 04:58, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This issue has been resolved.
The book now shows 1931. I dont know if that is correct or not, but at least it is better than 1933 GrandPoohBah (talk) 00:32, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Poster images for French and English versions

[edit]

Can someone please add images of posters for the French and English versions of the film.

I know the basics of how to add an image, but can not work out how to enter all of the copywrite info that has to be added GrandPoohBah (talk) 00:33, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
